As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the shop with the production preparation and clean-up of client specific signage and environmental branding. You will assist with the manufacturing of various sign types (pylon signs, wall signs, channel letter, awnings, etc.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cutting parts with power tools
• Measures properly
• Basic wiring
• Minor prep ability
• Minor production assembly
• Maintains and documents time worked on timesheet to allocate to the proper work order or indirect labor code
• Keeps warehouse clean by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.
• Crating product for shipping
• Minor shipping and receiving
• Excellent communication skills
• Crating skills a plus
• Ability to handle pressure situations
• Work in fast pace environment
• Must be able to multi task and stay organized
• Must be able to work in team environment
• Interested in and willing to learn new skills.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 to 75 pounds and move it for at least 50 feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
