We are currently hiring a forklift mechanic to support our distribution center. Qualifications required include advanced forklift maintenance education and past work experience in forklift maintenance. CAT/Yal experience preferred. Advanced engine technology experience along with transmission and hydraulic technology experience. Candidate must also have knowledge of forklift electrical systems. Capable of utilizing a broad range of computer diagnostic equipment according to different manufacturers' repair procedures in order to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner. Candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance and quality repairs involving any and all maintenance, tires and part installations. Electric lift experience preferred. Qualified candidate must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as well as using computer based inventory control and ordering of parts. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to work overtime as scheduled and may be required to work holidays if the distribution center is in operation.
