Customer Service Representative - Full Time - Vibra Health Plan

Vibra Health Plan is seeking experienced health plan Customer Service Representatives that excel at providing superior service to members!
Vibra Health Plan is focused exclusively on the Medicare Advantage population and seeks Customer Service Representatives with a passion to take customer service to the next level. As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle both customer and provider inquiries that are both routine and complex in nature requiring the highest level of attention to detail. Excellent health insurance customer service experience (or history) is required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Serves as the first point of contact to answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls, emails and faxed inquiries from members and providers.
Uses good listening skills, conducts outreach calls, collects data according to script, tools, and protocols meeting both productivity and performance expectations as identified by unit supervisor/or designees.
Conducts all calls in a courteous and customer service friendly manner. Refers as appropriate when indicated b workflow.
Communicates directly with members to identify needs, and provide information on health care access and preventative health interventions and screening.
Demonstrates a professional and courteous manner when communicating with others with the ability to clearly and accurately state the agreed upon resolution.
Documents and tracks contacts with members and providers.
Explains member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract.
Explains the operation of Vibra Health Plan to our Members when they call.
Explains procedures for accessing service.
Provides problem resolution for such issues as claims, explanation of benefits, billing inquiries, eligibility and benefits, pre-authorization requirements, ID card requests and member materials.
Appropriately intakes, classifies and investigates complaints and grievances for senior management review.
Adheres to requisite reporting and documentation requirements.
Conducts investigations into claims and billing issues to resolve member and provider inquiries.
Educates providers on our self-service options.
Uses applicable system tools and resources to handle inquiries.
Provides additional resources to the Member such as a Member Handbook and list of in-plan providers from the Memberís geographic region and completing data entry of requests and authorizations.
Works cross functionally; interacts with other departmentís i.e. Medical Management in resolving issues.
Familiar with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.
Must be very detailed oriented and organized.
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends during specific times of the year and over time when needed.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned within the assigned timeframes.
High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
3 years current or recent Customer Service experience in a health plan required.
Excellent listening and problem-solving skills required.
Experience in a production environment required.
Excellent Oral and written communication skills required.
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office.
