Job Title: Software Quality Engineer Level II

Job Description:
POSITION DUTIES: Works with QA Director to ensure the definition and implementation of the NextGen quality program mission, vision, tactics and strategies and for communicating these appropriately. Responsible to support the development, deployment, continuous improvement and effectiveness of the NextGen Quality Systems to ensure business objectives and quality objectives are met in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements, Involved in quality planning, definition, deployment and improvement of work processes, measurement of these processes; and organizational development; communication; and risk management of the quality program. Participate in team and project related meetings. Participate in peer review of design documentation as required.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Science Engineering or related quantitative field and two years of leading or implementing a quality system.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies (including those specific to software), principles, methods, tools, standard, organizational and team dynamics and professional ethics.
Understands software project management, development risk management (ISO 14971 or IEC 63204), verification and maintenance, SCRUM/Agile experience. Understanding measurement theory and techniques, Understanding of Software audits
