Job Description:
Expanding Eastern Pa grower & rewholesale operation needs a well rounded grower to manage its nursery & rewholesale field operations. This position will direct and control all activities associated with producing and growing nursery crops. This includes ensuring optimum quality, growth, appearance, and health from caring for stock to the point of shipment to customer’s location. Efficient use of time, labor and money using programs that incorporate lean flow, integrative pest management will be important. Present Nursery includes 300 acres of B&B field production mostly conifer at this point but expanding into deciduous trees. Applicant must be well versed in all phases of nursery B&B production and employee supervision. Salary based on experience.
